What did you want to be when you grew up?

A private investigator/spy so I could stop all of the bad guys.

If you could transform into any animal, what would you be and why?

A butterfly. They can fly, look really cool, and go through such a cool changing process from caterpillar to butterfly. They also do important work. I think that's symbolic of our lives as humans and I just like the sentiment of it.

Who is your hero and why?

Jesus Christ. He is the most kind, patient, and loving person. I want to be like Him.

What advice do you wish you received when you were a kid and why?

That it's an important job to be a kid and to use my imagination. (I was one of those kids who just wanted to grow up too quickly). Children help adults become kids again when they involve them in imagination. They inspire dreams to come true. It's important to be a child and to have fun. It helps yourself and everyone around you.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I dreamt of being a professional dancer all growing up. Letting the music take me away on stage for all the world to see the true version of me flying high and moving to the rhythm. I couldn't think of anything more magical.

If you could transform into any animal, what would you be and why?

I would want to be a wolf, because like dogs they are so loving and loyal to their friends and family but they are protective and will stay with their pack no matter the circumstances. I love their loyalty, trust, and majestic feeling about them. Watching a pack of wolves run through a field and how they group together, it makes me want to be part of something bigger like how they are part of each other.

Who is your hero and why?

Is it cheesy to say Hermione Granger? She has and always will be my hero. She is strong, loves her books, isn't afraid of being herself, knows how to love and how to be loved, and is fiercely dependable to those that she loves. I admire her ability to analyze different situations and keep a level head, her loyalty to her friends and her family and most importantly I love the she can always be found in the library because that's my favorite place to be.

What advice do you wish you received when you were a kid and why?

Looking back I wish someone could've helped me realize it's ok to be a kid and not want to grow up, I felt so much pressure that I needed to be a "big girl" and never cry or show overwhelming amounts of emotion. Sometimes it's ok to cry and feel helpless and let those emotions take over. Emotions do not have the power to make anyone "less than", and whether big or little, emotions will still over power you. And that's ok, the trick is standing up after they overwhelm you and starting over again with a smile on your face, recognizing that you are stronger because of your emotions.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A teacher.

If you could transform into any animal, what would you be and why?

Cat. They're very independent creatures, they know what they want and when they want it.

Who is your hero and why?

My grandfather. He can get out of any situation without offending a single person and always saying the truth

What advice do you wish you received when you were a kid and why?

Don't give up even if it's hard

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I wanted to be a famous singer like Hillary Duff, I was a huge fan of her playing Lizzie McGuire. I loved how she was kind, beautiful, and a great friend.

If you could transform into any animal, what would you be and why?

I would transform into a cheetah because they are such beautiful, powerful, and strong creatures.

Who is your hero and why?

I admire anyone who accomplished great feats despite huge adversity. Jackie Robinson was one of my first heroes. He was incredibly resilient even when his own team in the MLB would bully him and turn against him. He knew that his journey to become the first african american in the MLB was not just about him, it was a cause that was greater than himself and he fought bravely to accomplish this goal.

What advice do you wish you received when you were a kid and why?

That being a kid is the best! This is the time in your life that you literally have all the time in the world to play, discover, and create. Enjoy every minute of it, and don't hold back any opportunity to use your imagination and enjoy this phase of your life.
